US Air Force Officer Rescued From Iran; Trump Issues Another Warning
US special forces rescued the second crew member of a downed F-15 in Iran, officials said, after he evaded capture for over 24 hours while wounded. Around 200 troops took part in the operation, with heavy air cover, as Iranian forces and civilians searched for him. How the mission unfolded. President Donald Trump said the jet was hit by a shoulder-fired missile and called it a “nightmare scenario”.
The rescue came as Trump warned Iran that “all Hell will reign down” within 48 hours if it does not reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Trump told Axios, if no deal is reached till Tuesday, “I am blowing up everything over there.”

A Link Between Autism & Alzheimer’s?
Emerging research suggests biological links between autism and Alzheimer’s, once seen as unrelated conditions. Early studies show autistic individuals may face higher dementia risk, with one analysis finding they are 2.6 times more likely to develop early-onset Alzheimer’s. Scientists have identified at least 148 shared genes affecting synapses and brain connectivity.
“There are strong indications that something is going on,” said Autism Speaks’ Andy Shih. Researchers are also studying shared pathways like cellular waste clearance and brain networks. While findings remain preliminary, experts say studying both together could reshape understanding and treatment of each condition.
Stocks, bonds, gold, and crypto are all falling at the same time. One market just grew 23.1% last year. Here’s how you can invest.

Here's the paradox no one's talking about: the Iran war should be sending investors into safe havens. But they’re selling instead.
Oil doubled since February 28. Historically, that’s helped drive inflation. Inflation drives rate hike expectations (now at 45%, up from 11%).
And higher rates have their impact on everything, gold included.
Still floating at record highs, it’s down 18.6% from its peak. In the middle of a war.
"Whether it's stocks, bonds, or gold, they're all falling," a Bank of East Asia strategist told CNBC this week.
But the art market seems to be in a growth trajectory.
U.S. auction sales rose 23.1% in 2025, and the $1mm-$5mm segment grew 40.8% in value.
Almost no one knows this, but post war and contemporary art grew 10.2% annually over the last 30 years with near-zero equity correlation.*

Gen Z Is Vacationing Sober Too
Is the new vacation flex waking up without a hangover? Sober tourism is rising as travelers, especially Gen Z, opt for alcohol-free trips centered on wellness and experiences. UserTesting data shows over half of Gen Z report growing interest, with nearly two-thirds citing cost savings, alongside health and mental wellness.
A 2023 Hotels.com survey found 40% of travelers are likely to book a “detox trip,” while 74% of Gen Z prefer hotels with alcohol-free options. Expedia Group says the trend has steadily increased. Resorts like Wynn Las Vegas now offer alcohol-free programs, reflecting a broader shift toward experience-first travel over nightlife.

“Looksmaxxing” is turning self-improvement into a full-blown strategy, with young men tracking facial ratios, chasing “top-tier” attractiveness, and treating dating like a competitive system. Fueled by social media, it promises better romantic outcomes through better looks. But critics say it risks pushing extreme, unhealthy behaviors and reduces relationships to surface-level metrics. Supporters argue it’s just modern grooming and confidence-building. The bigger question: where does self-improvement end and obsession begin?
