Pentagon Releases ‘Never-Seen-Before’ UFO Files
The Pentagon on Friday released more than 160 declassified files on unidentified anomalous phenomena, or UAPs, through a new government website. The files include over 400 incidents dating from the 1940s to 2024, along with military infrared videos, eyewitness accounts, and records from Apollo missions. The documents do not confirm extraterrestrial life or government contact with aliens. Administration officials noted, “The American people have asked for more transparency on these topics, and President Trump is delivering.”
The move follows a directive to prioritize transparency. President Donald Trump had previewed the release last month, saying “very interesting documents” would be released “very, very soon”. Pentagon Public Affairs said, “The American people can now access the federal government’s declassified UAP files instantly.” Responding to the release, NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman wrote, “We will remain candid about what we know to be true, what we have yet to understand, and all that remains to be discovered.”
