ONE BIG HEADLINE

‘Hell Of A Situation’: Trump Visits Texas Flood Sites

President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump visited Kerrville, Texas, on Friday to assess the devastation caused by flash floods that killed over 120 people, including dozens of children. Touring the disaster zone along the Guadalupe River, they passed wreckage and met with first responders. “This is a hell of a situation, isn’t it, huh?” Trump remarked to reality TV host Dr. Phil, who joined the roundtable alongside Gov. Greg Abbott and other Texas officials. Trump’s shifting tone on FEMA.

During the discussion, Trump praised Abbott and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem for doing an “incredible job,” but bristled at criticism of the government’s preparedness. When a reporter mentioned residents’ frustration with delayed warnings, Trump snapped, “Only a very evil person would ask a question like that.” Did FEMA not answer thousands of calls from flood survivors?

The July 4 flood, triggered by over a foot of rainfall in an hour, caused the Guadalupe River to surge from 1 to 34 feet, sweeping away trees, homes, and campers. Kerr County, located in “flash flood alley,” remains the epicenter of recovery efforts, with over 160 still missing. Search teams continue combing through debris, though no survivors have been found since the day of the flood. Why Kerr County didn’t use most far-reaching alert systems in deadly floods.

YOUR STARS THIS WEEK

♈ Aries

You're fired up—but pause before acting. Bold moves work better when they're smart, not just fast.

♉ Taurus

Comfort zones are cozy, but growth needs discomfort. Say yes to the thing that scares you a little.

♊ Gemini

Your curiosity is gold—just don’t let it scatter you. Focus makes your magic actually land this week.

♋ Cancer

Emotions may be extra this week—ride the waves, don’t sink in them. Boundaries = peace.

♌ Leo

Spotlight’s yours, but don’t chase it. Let your presence speak louder than the performance.

♍ Virgo

You’re seeing everything clearly—maybe too clearly. Don't micromanage what needs to breathe.

♎ Libra

Harmony is lovely, but don't lose your voice for the vibe. Say the thing you keep editing.

♏ Scorpio

You’re deeper than usual (yes, it’s possible). Channel it creatively—don’t spiral inward.

♐ Sagittarius

Freedom's calling, but discipline whispers better results. Balance the two, and doors fly open.

Stop trying to prove you're unshakeable. Softness doesn’t make you less powerful — just more human.

An unexpected idea might actually stick. Stay weird, but don't forget to follow through.

♓ Pisces

Dreams feel extra vivid — trust your intuition, but ground it before acting. The stars are speaking. Listen.

Go. See. Do.
