IN THE SPOTLIGHT
FBI Redacted Trump’s Name in Epstein Files

The FBI redacted President Donald Trump’s name and those of several high-profile figures from files related to Jeffrey Epstein, citing privacy protections, three individuals familiar with the matter told Bloomberg. The redactions were made because Trump and others were private citizens when the Epstein investigation began in 2006. “The appearance of a person’s name in the documents does not indicate they were under investigation or even accused of wrongdoing,” a source said.
The redactions stemmed from Trump’s campaign promise to “declassify” Epstein-related documents, a move long demanded by his base. In March, FBI Director Kash Patel ordered agents to work with FOIA teams at facilities in Winchester, Virginia, to comb through more than 100,000 documents, including grand jury materials and internal case files. According to a July letter from Senator Dick Durbin, as many as 1,000 FBI employees worked around the clock on the review.
While reviewing the materials, agents found numerous references to Trump and other public figures. FOIA officers redacted names under standard exemptions, particularly privacy. The DOJ and FBI recently concluded that “no further disclosure” would be appropriate. Durbin responded Friday, saying Trump “has the power to unilaterally help fix this by consenting to the release of his name in the files.”

YOUR STARS TODAY
This Saturday, what do your stars have in store for you?
♈ Aries Family can both comfort and confront you today. Notice how their words or actions reflect something deeper within. These moments could offer unexpected clarity about yourself — if you're willing to truly look. | ♉ Taurus Clarity begins with communication. Today, focus on listening just as much as you speak. There’s insight in others’ words — and growth in pausing before responding. You’ll understand more when you slow down. | ♊ Gemini Feeling overwhelmed by your to-do list? Break it down. Choose one small, manageable task and start there. Progress comes from momentum, not perfection — so just begin, and let that carry you forward. |
♋ Cancer What does your heart truly crave? If you’re constantly putting others first, resentment can quietly build. Today’s a reminder to prioritize your own joy, even in small ways. It matters more than you think. | ♌ Leo Things might feel unsettled at home or within. But stability isn’t always external — it’s something you can create for yourself. Ground into what brings you peace and trust that you carry home within. | ♍ Virgo Keeping things inside may feel easier, but it only weighs you down. Today invites you to express what you’ve been holding back. Say it clearly. Say it kindly. Say it for your own freedom. |
♎ Libra If pleasure feels far away, ask yourself why. Are you tending to your needs, or stretching thin to keep balance? It’s time to prioritize satisfaction and reshape what doesn’t feel right — especially in love. | ♏ Scorpio The emotional weather may be stormy, but you’re stronger than the chaos. Anchor into your inner stillness. Let the outside swirl while you remain centered. Your peace doesn’t need to be disturbed by anyone. | ♐ Sagittarius You’re craving freedom, but something inside is still holding on. What belief, memory, or burden needs releasing before you can truly take off again? Let go — and you’ll regain that soaring spirit you miss. |
♑ Capricorn Not all relationships come with clarity. If something feels undefined, you get to ask for meaning. Set the boundaries or labels you need — then let the emotional fog settle. You deserve straightforward connections. | ♒ Aquarius Your dreams are calling, but distractions are loud today. Recenter yourself. It’s okay if the path feels long — the important thing is starting. Focus your energy, and you'll find your next steps with time. | ♓ Pisces There’s beauty waiting if you’re willing to break old patterns. Shame and fear might block the door, but honesty is the key. Choose self-compassion today, and you’ll unlock new joy you didn’t know was possible. |
Go. See. Do.
