Is US Sending Ground Troops In Iran?

President Donald Trump has privately discussed the possibility of deploying a limited number of US ground troops inside Iran, according to several current and former officials familiar with the conversations. The idea reportedly centers on small, targeted missions — such as securing nuclear materials or conducting special operations — rather than a full-scale invasion.

The discussions come as the conflict with Iran intensifies, with US forces already facing drone and missile attacks and officials warning the war could further escalate if American troops enter Iran. The war has already killed six US service members as Iran continues drone and missile strikes. Iran’s foreign minister warned the country is prepared for American troops, saying it would be a “big disaster” for the US. Iran President’s warning to neighboring nations.

Meanwhile, US intelligence reports Russia has been sharing information on American military assets with Iran that could help Tehran target US forces, raising fears the conflict could further escalate.
