Supreme Court Upends Trump’s Tariff Plans
The Supreme Court ruled 6–3 that President Donald Trump exceeded his authority by using a 1970s emergency statute to impose broad global tariffs without congressional approval. Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. wrote that the law did not authorize unilateral tariffs, while Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel A. Alito Jr. and Brett M. Kavanaugh dissented, with Kavanaugh warning of a potential refund “mess”. What is happening to the refunds?
Trump responded by raising his new global tariff to the statute’s 15% cap, replacing the invalidated duties and citing trade pressures, existing deals, and differing country impacts. Judges get angry over Trump violating their order.

Mexico Kills Country’s Most Powerful Drug Cartel Leader
Mexican security forces killed the country's most powerful drug cartel — Jalisco New Generation Cartel — leader Nemesio Rubén Oseguera Cervantes, “El Mencho,” during an operation in Tapalpa, Jalisco, on Sunday. He was wounded during capture and died while being flown to Mexico City, officials said.
His death triggered widespread cartel retaliation, with authorities reporting blocked roads and burning vehicles across more than 20 states, school closures, and at least 14 deaths. What’s next for the cartel he led? White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said the US provided intelligence support. President Claudia Sheinbaum urged calm as airlines canceled flights, cities shut down, and security alerts were issued in multiple states. US-military led group helped track him.
Here’s an un-boring way to invest that billionaires have quietly leveraged for decades
If you have enough money that you think about buckets for your capital…
Ever invest in something you know will have low returns—just for the sake of diversifying?
CDs… Bonds… REITs… :(
Sure, these “boring” investments have some merits. But you probably overlooked one historically exclusive asset class:
It’s been famously leveraged by billionaires like Bezos and Gates, but just never been widely accessible until now.
It’s had attractive growth and hasn’t tended to move in line with other markets from 1995 to 2025.
It’s not private equity or real estate. Surprisingly, it’s postwar and contemporary art.
And since 2019, over 70,000 people have started investing in SHARES of artworks featuring legends like Banksy, Basquiat, and Picasso through a platform called Masterworks.
28 exits to date
$1,275,000,000+ invested
Annualized net returns like 14.6%, 17.8%, and 17.8%

Why Women’s Pain Lasts Longer Than Men
Scientists studying chronic pain compared 245 men and women with similar traumatic injuries and found men’s pain resolved faster over three months. Blood tests showed men had higher levels of interleukin-10, an immune molecule that shuts off pain signals, boosted by testosterone.
According to a study published Friday in the journal Science Immunology, lab experiments in mice showed similar sex differences, with male mice recovering faster from inflammation, surgical incisions and stress. Researchers said the findings reveal a real biological mechanism, not perception, and underscore the need to take women’s pain seriously. Experts added that the results may guide future treatments targeting chronic pain in women.
