DOJ Unredacts More Names From Epstein Files Amid Pressure
The Department of Justice unredacted multiple names in Jeffrey Epstein-related files after Reps. Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie criticized heavy redactions in documents released under the Epstein Files Transparency Act. Who are the six men named in unredacted files? Massie cited redacted lists, a 2009 email exchange between Epstein and a man he described as a sultan, and an FBI memo naming possible co-conspirators.
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said the DOJ unredacted “all non-victim names,” adding that Les Wexner’s name was restored. Survivor Sharlene Rochard said the DOJ failed to protect victims’ identities while obscuring others.

Grand Jury Rejects Indictment of Democrats in “Illegal Orders” Probe
A federal grand jury declined to indict six Democratic lawmakers over a November video urging military and intelligence personnel to refuse illegal orders following the Trump administration’s deadly boat strikes in the Caribbean. The investigation was pursued by US Attorney Jeanine Pirro’s office, The New York Times reported.
The video featured Sens. Elissa Slotkin and Mark Kelly and Reps. Jason Crow, Chrissy Houlahan, Chris Deluzio and Maggie Goodlander. President Trump denounced the video on Truth Social. After the grand jury decision, Slotkin, Deluzio, Kelly and Crow issued statements confirming they were named in the attempted indictment.

What’s The Latest On Nancy Guthrie Disappearance
A man identified only as Carlos was detained on Tuesday in Rio Rico, Arizona, for questioning in the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, 84, mother of “Today” anchor Savannah Guthrie. He said police approached his parked car, asked his name, and held him for several hours before releasing him early on Wednesday with swollen wrists.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department and the FBI searched his home and released no further details. His detention followed investigators’ recovery of doorbell-camera footage showing a masked, armed person at Nancy Guthrie’s home on the night she vanished.

Alcohol can spark fast friendship, soften social jitters and turn strangers into chatty, laughing groups — which researchers say is exactly why it becomes so reinforcing. Studies show people talk more, smile more and bond more when they drink together, creating those “golden moments” of connection. But experts warn that relying on alcohol for belonging raises risks, especially for socially anxious people who pre-game to ease nervousness and end up drinking far more.
