ICE Agents At Airports

A federal response to mounting airport delays is underway as President Donald Trump confirmed that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents will be deployed to US airports starting Monday. Border czar Tom Homan said, “We will be at the airports tomorrow,” though details of their role remain unclear.

The move has been driven by a partial government shutdown, which has left Transportation Security Administration workers unpaid, prompting resignations and absences that have caused hours-long security lines. Leaving travellers to face long lines and spend hours at the airport. How to navigate airport security like a pro? Homan said ICE agents could help with tasks like securing exits to ease pressure on screening lines.

This Overlooked Organ Could Affect Your Lifespan

New research from Mass General Brigham suggests the thymus, long thought inactive after puberty, remains important in adulthood. Using AI analysis of CT scans, researchers found adults with healthier thymuses had lower mortality and reduced risks of cardiovascular disease and cancer.

The thymus produces T cells that support immune function, and its health varies significantly across individuals. In cancer patients receiving immunotherapy, stronger thymic health was linked to a 37% lower risk of disease progression and 44% lower risk of death. Factors like smoking and higher body weight were associated with poorer thymic function, while better metabolic health supported stronger activity.

Georgia Woman Charged With Murder in Abortion Case

A 31-year-old Georgia woman, Alexia Moore, has been charged with murder after police alleged she used pills to terminate a pregnancy. Authorities say Moore took misoprostol and oxycodone before arriving at a hospital in December with abdominal pain. If state prosecutors move forward, Moore could become one of the first women charged with murder for terminating a pregnancy under the state’s 2019 abortion law — which bans abortion after cardiac activity is detected.

According to the arrest warrant, the fetus was delivered alive and survived for about an hour. Medical records estimated the pregnancy at 22 to 24 weeks. Moore has been jailed since March 4 and also faces drug possession charges.

Bankruptcy is increasingly becoming a reality for younger adults, with attorneys reporting a sharp rise in filings among those aged 25–35. Rising living costs, stagnant wages, and easy access to credit are major drivers. Add to that buy-now-pay-later loans and a surge in online gambling, and debt is stacking up faster than ever. Some young people now see bankruptcy as a reset, not a last resort. While filings are still below past peaks, the shift signals deeper financial strain—and changing attitudes toward debt and risk.
