Trump Administration Pauses All Asylum Claims
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem says she’s urging President Donald Trump to dramatically widen the administration’s new travel ban, arguing too many dangerous individuals are entering the US. Officials tie the push to a recent DC shooting involving an Afghan national, a case that has ignited fierce political backlash over vetting failures. What we know so far.
In a meeting called to respond to the shooting, Trump referred to Somali immigrants as “garbage”, in a statement widely condemned as racist and inflammatory. He also doubled down on expanding travel bans. Did Trump really doze off multiple times during the meeting?

Do Women Really Hit The “Fertility Cliff” At 35?
For years, women have been warned that 35 is the make-or-break age for fertility — the dreaded moment doctors switch to “advanced maternal age” labels and talk about skyrocketing risks. But what if that fear isn’t the full story?

Tech mogul Michael Dell is pledging $6.25 billion to expand access to “Trump accounts”, new tax-advantaged savings accounts for kids. Eligible children born between 2025 and 2028 receive $1,000 from the government to kickstart their investments. Dell’s contribution will add $250 for most kids age 10 and under who fall outside those birth-year limits, giving millions a small — but potentially life-changing — financial head start. Supporters say the accounts encourage long-term investing and future opportunity. Critics question the politics behind the branding.
